Pink and Yellow Sheets

Thursday, 23 April 2009   6:46:32 PM

There are still several clubs that have failed to submit pink and yellow sheets (70 teams approx). These teams are now being fined and their fines will continue to grow in cost as each month passes. Teams that fail to submit sheets at all by the time grading occurs will automatically be graded in the same grade or elevated even if they finished last as we have no record of individual performances

20-20 Cricket

Tuesday, 30 December 2008   11:38:17 PM

The idea of starting a 20-20 competetion for next season has been raised. There have been a few ideas thrown around and we would love to hear from anyone with further ideas or from clubs that may be interested in playing next season. At this stage some of the ideas that have come forward are; 1) to hold the preliminary rounds in zones eg Port Stephens, Southern Lakes etc, where the top team/s progress to the next round, 2) play on a Sunday afternoon or where clubs can fit it in on a Friday afternoon, 3) instead of having set dates for a round, each round is to be completed by a set date, eg the first round maybe week 3 of the normal season, round 2 week 6 etc. 4) for the semis and finals they could all be held on the same day at a number of grounds, 5) A nominal fee could be charged to cover for grounds etc and maybe some price money 6) all teams gauranteed a minimum of 2 games. These are only some ideas, what we need now is to see if there is any interest as we would call for nominations on rego day. Clubs could enter a team or several teams depending on the interest. If you have any ideas or are interested in playing please let either myself or Graham Field know be email
